Paris City Fashion Week FW 2023-24
The theme for this collaboration collection was an Italian Gothic. The analogy of how Byzantine Art, with its flat contoured look of Saints with a gold background, became highly emotional half‑perspective wise paintings with detailed Artwork. That is what brought Lily, the Chief designer and Creative director, to think about modern times and how everything has changed in the past decade. Retranslating the vision of old‑time masters into wearable art pieces and Modern fashion.
In the meantime, Stephen Matthew, with his background in architecture, classic drawing, and work with unconventional materials, brought another perspective and influence into the collection. His prints and usage of color were an outstanding asset to the collection.

Each look of the collection has been made with a use of old Couture traditions. The prints for the collection are 100% unique and came from the original artworks of the two designers, combining oil paintings and digital techniques. Custom‑printed silks, delicate laces, and embroidered details—elegance and grace, inspired by the 14th‑century pre‑renaissance were the emphasis of the collection.

The Art Collection was inspired by the artwork of two incredible artists – Ilya Zomb, known for his surrealistic oil paintings, and Elena Proper, whose dreamy realism in acrylic paint captivated audiences.
The Chief designer – Lily Marotto, worked closely with both artists to retranslate their vision into Walking Art. Every painting was modified with her signature silhouettes and techniques to bring colors, shapes, and an artistic mood into living art pieces.

The idea of the collection was born while traveling in Italy and the beauty of the old masters' paintings about the creation of nature and the world. Los Angeles Fashion Week 2017
The theme of the collection was Simurgh – a benevolent bird in Persian mythology and literature. Lily Marotto worked with the artist Elena Proper to create colorful prints, representing their beauty and wisdom, and the path of the soul through struggle to achieve true happiness and joy.

The versatility of pieces was another feature of this collection – many pieces were reversible and could be worn for different occasions to represent the uniqueness of each individual soul.
